Computer Science / Minor Art & Design
I started my college career at Southern Illinois University Carbondale as a civil engineer. I transitioned to Computer Science in my second year and finished my minor in art and design before leaving the university. I enjoyed my time at the university, which shares a closer topography to Tennessee than the rest of downstate Illinois. I was a founding member of the school's skateboard society helping to organize fundraisers and events.https://siu.edu/

CSS3 has evolved the web into an art form.
SASS compiles to CSS and allows you to use functions and variables.
Bootstrap is a good starting point for collaborating with other developers.
I write ES6 code compiled with Babel for browser support.
Great tool for DOM manipulation, better API than vanilla JS.
Lodash adds some important functions to JS like throttle and debounce.
Webpack based JS/CSS build tool, similar to Gulp.
Git is a wonderful tool to use to manage versions of code and collaborate with other people.
Google Analytics is a powerful free tool to track user behavior.
Sketch is my favorite UI design tool because of it’s ability to easily export assets and similarity to the web.
